The death of a loved one is naturally a time of grief and loss, but it is also a period that can put a family under strain with the need to announce the death, make funeral arrangements and receive sympathisers. Normally it is two to three days between time of death and burial on the island of Ireland which is a very short period of time to let everyone in the deceased’s life know that they have passed away.
Death Notices has been set up to alleviate this difficult period for the bereaved family by announcing the death to not only the local community, but to old friends and acquaintances of the deceased who may live outside the immediate area and even abroad.
The benefits can be summarised as follows: –
*Our service gets news of the death out much faster than other conventional means, which takes the undue worry away from bereaved families at a very difficult time.
*Our Facebook pages allow people to leave condolences in a very simple and easy format, which is hugely consoling for the family in the aftermath of a death.
Our Mission Statement
“Our mission is to deliver death notices on behalf of the bereaved family, to the local community, the wider county and to those who may not live locally or live overseas. We do this as part of a sensitive and dignified service”.
